What does sharing dead bodies achieve? Nothing but Likes, Shares, "#Retweets #Hashtags" "#Syria #DeadBaby." This is all it achieves. What does it cause others to do? Protest. Get angry. Fell terrible. Fell weak, upset and helpless? That's all it achieves. Situations don't change by spreading dead bodies. You can't bring the dead back to life. Demoralization is not constructive, it's destructive. If anything such things could breed fanatical reactions whether it be protests that turn violent, endangering peoples lives, to terror groups driven by such images, driven by helplessness, anger and other such emotions. If you see something sad like this. Write about it, write about how you felt. Write about what needs to be done, what we need to do, but more importantly, share a cause or charity to support and donate to, for the ones still lucky to be alive. I believe in the power of social media, when used with good moral etiquette and respect. There is no need to arouse anger or sadness in others by showing us death. If that were your mother, or son, or daughter or father or brother, would you like it? Ask yourself that.
