Parents say this a lot to their children.."Because Allah is angry with you" Let's NOT use this phrase against our children ever again...or even to anyone else. Do not say: "You know why you have fallen down the stairs? Because yesterday I asked you to wash the dishes, but you didn't listen, and Allah is angry with you" Or "You know why you have cancer? Because you didn't pray 5 times a day." Bad things that happen and that are NOT WITHIN OUR CONTROL, are meant to happen by the DECREE of Allah s.w.t. We do not have the license from Allah s.w.t. to decide why such things happen. Every museebah/calamity that hits us (unless it's death) is a GIFT FROM ALLAH s.w.t. so we can learn something from it. When faced with a museebah, train our tongues and our hearts to say "inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un".
