I have a 4 year old son and my husband and I try not to do the things we tell our son he can’t do, out of fairness. Well, I was on the phone and didn’t have any paper to write down an important phone number so I grabbed a pen and wrote on my arm. My son was watching, crossed his arms and just stood there looking at me tapping his foot. He waited until my phone call ended and them grabbed my hand and walked me over to the wall. I realized he was giving me a time out! He made me stand there five minutes, then let me go. I was so dumbfounded but I stood there and did my time like a good adult!
