Best comment by Young Periclytus-Mom I think the best way for the children to be raised well in general, is that dad goes to work for his family and mom stays home for the kids. May sound plain and simple, but the effect is a wonder if applied with the right cause. Our children, no matter how old, see their parents as the core of love and peace, and look up to them as the guidance to a realm of virtues. Nowadays, society plays a bigger part for mothers who seem to find working outside the home to be better for the family, but doesn't it seem that there's a slight of selfishness in the part done by the mother. Her children basically needs her. If the father earns enough for the family, it would be right enough for the mother to be with her children, so as they know that they are loved and needed. We see minors becoming criminals, juvenile delinquencies are on the rise. Although it might not go to that extend, but in order to have a secure future for our children, let's make the home a happy place for them to stay and not a disturbed one. A friendly parent but a strict disciplinarian,we need to be open to their questions but always remembering that a line must be drawn some where, for there is no such thing as sky is the limit with parenting. And above all, imparting ISLAM to them, and making it the root of their existence.A well guided Muslim Children, becomes a well guided individual for the society, community,family and a best servant to ALLAH.
