Mother I remember when you were young and full of life...there wasn't nothing you didn't like to do. Your green eyes caught everyone as they smiled at people and your auburn hair showed the spunk and liveliness you could bring to life in your heart. The energy you had was beyond belief and you never seemed to tire. You displayed a love for life in itself like you never had a chance to enjoy it as a youngster. I know your life was extremely hard and you suffered in many ways as a child but you never have shown it and you never have wanted any pity. You are a rarity, one in a million, one who could take any task and run with it. I've watch you many times, as you were challenged to a tough situation, and it was as though you loved to work puzzles in life because you always came out in the end as the winner. You played with us kids like you were a kid yourself and your face told how much you enjoyed it. You loved to ride horses that were as wild as could be, you loved the challenge of taming it down until it found peace within. There wasn't a sled or a pair of ski's that you wouldn't get on to coast down a hill. I remember the name of the old Ford you loved so much, you called it "Mule Train" and you loved to race it as if you were the greatest race car driver on earth. I'll never forget the time the police stopped you because of the loud mufflers you had on it and the police told you to press down on the accelerator, and you barley touch it, and he said, "I told you to press down to that accelerator," and as you did the noise caused him to jump. All of us held our sides from laughing so much. You would sit with us every evening and read the holy quran and teach it to us. You told stories of the prophets companions every night before we went to sleep. You would ook delicious meals for us every night and then tell us to thank the Creator for bestowing the meal upon us. Mother, you made life look so easy and never showed how you had to struggle to raise your seven children in a small coal mining town in West Virginia. You never failed to have a country cooked meal on the table three times a day, have clean clothes for us to wear, a spotless house, canned food for us to eat in the winter, and a nice clean bed to snuggle into at night. You were a treasure Mother, one of the greatest in the world. You made our lives so worth while and you kept us interested in all things and kept us full of energy and a desire to live and enjoy life like you did. You'll be ninety-four in January and you're still going strong and the greatness of your energy and your enjoyment in living life to the fullest excels in all you "still" do. I do believe Mother if you could you'd "still" ride a wild horse, race a car, and live life a little on the wild side if you didn't think we'd all think you'd flipped your lid. Mother you're an amazing woman!
