Bismillah!! "Set me free" by Azra Ansar Lukman was returning home after leaving school with his friends. When he came near to his house in the garden he saw an eye catching butterfly, sucking nectar of a beautiful sunflower, among the flower bushes. He went slowly near the butterfly with the thought of catching it, and luckily he caught... it with a great effort. Very happily he took it inside the home and without showing it to mum he put it into a glass bottle and kept it under his bed. The little butterfly struggled a lot to come out of the bottle, but it could not do that as it is a helpless and a harmless creature. Lukman did not forget to look after the butterfly. He wandered around the garden collecting flowers for the butterfly. He thought that the butterfly was happy being caged and he felt as if he was protecting it from enemies. Oneday, Lukman had taken his mother,s new cloth and cut it to make puppets to play. His mother got angry and punished him by keeping him in a locked room for half an hour. He was irritated and felt hard to spend those 30 minutes caged in a room as a captive. At that moment he realized the situation of his butterfly " I cant even pass away just a half an hour in a locked room then how would my butterfly be feeling all these two days? ... " When his mother opened the door, he quickly ran towards his room and set the butterfly free and he was happy seeing it fly freely into the flower bed. From that day Lukman didn't cage any creature instead he enjoyed watching them when they come to his garden. The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “Allah has cursed the one who inflicts pain upon animals.” [Sahih Al-Bukhari and Muslim
