So, I have been wondering, do your parents hit you? Or do you hit your children, I have been searching up Ahadith on the topic of commanding parents to hit kids and only found a few.. The Prophet said "Do not hit the face and do not defigure." Regarding the second part, is it permissible to hit the student in general as a means of discipline; the answer must make mention of the statement of the Prophet, "Command your children to pray when they reach the age of seven and hit them if they leave it off when they reach the age of ten and separate them from each other in the beds." I repeat, do you guys hit your kids or get hit by your parents? If so, do you have any Hadith to prove you have the right to hit them for what they did? :) Jazakallah
